Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Papua over the last six months increased by 0.23 percent from 28.17 percent in March 2015 to 28.40 percent in September 2015.
According to the type of area, the poor are concentrated in rural areas. In September 2015 as much as 37.34 percent of the poor live in rural areas, while in urban areas amounted to only 3.61 percent.
